To become licensed in Washington State you must complete an 8 hour comprehensive course and an examination covering the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct and have obtained a score of 90% or better on the exam.

The Washington State Board of Accountancy will accept the following Examination as meeting this qualification until December 31, 2024. Starting January 1, 2025, we will no longer accept this course as meeting the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct requirement for initial licensure.
